Customers are responsible for collecting completed garments within the time period communicated by JEY Tailor.
Prices for tailoring and alteration services are determined based on the type of work required, garment construction, materials, complexity, and time involved.
A price estimate or agreed price will generally be provided before work begins.
JEY Tailor may require full or partial payment at the time of garment drop-off, order placement, or before work begins.
Unless otherwise agreed, any remaining balance is due before or upon pickup of the completed garment.
Additional work requested after the original order has been approved may result in additional charges. Any significant additional charges will be communicated to the customer when reasonably possible before the additional work is performed.
Customers are responsible for informing JEY Tailor of any known damage, defects, previous alterations, unusual construction, or other conditions that may affect the requested work.
JEY Tailor will exercise reasonable care when performing alteration services. However, alterations may involve working with delicate, aged, previously altered, damaged, or specialty fabrics and garments.
JEY Tailor is not responsible for pre-existing damage, hidden defects, fabric deterioration, weakened materials, or damage resulting from the inherent condition or construction of a garment.
Certain alterations may also affect the original appearance, construction, or condition of a garment. Customers acknowledge that alteration work may involve reasonable and necessary changes to the garment.
Customers are responsible for attending requested fittings when applicable and for communicating any concerns regarding fit or requested alterations during the fitting process.
Where a fitting or final adjustment is appropriate, JEY Tailor may recommend additional fitting or adjustment before completion.
Once a garment has been completed according to the agreed-upon alterations, any additional alteration requested by the customer may be subject to an additional charge.
JEY Tailor strives to provide high-quality workmanship and to exercise reasonable care with customer garments.
However, to the extent permitted by applicable law, JEY Tailor shall not be liable for:
Pre-existing damage, defects, fabric wear, or deterioration;
Hidden weaknesses or defects in fabric, seams, buttons, zippers, linings, or other garment components;
Damage resulting from the inherent characteristics or condition of a garment;
Damage resulting from previous alterations or repairs performed by another person or business;
Minor variations in fit or appearance that may reasonably result from the alteration process;
Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or other damages arising from the use of our website or services.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
You may use the JEY Tailor website for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
